Dwarf song and hand tower saying

At the Schildkrötli-Swimmers, we always start and end our swimming lessons in the same way.

Our dwarf song at the beginning of the course gives the children a certain anticipation for the swimming course. The children realise that swimming lessons are starting and they can look forward to their time in the water. By singing together, we promote a sense of community and group spirit.

The hand tower saying can keep the children motivated to swim and ends the swimming lesson on a positive note.

dwarf song

Hand tower saying

Guet simer gsi,

Super simer gsi,

S’Zähni simer gsi,

Tschau mitenand!

All in all, teaching a ritual song at the beginning or a closing chant at the end of each swimming lesson is a wonderful idea that can promote anticipation, social bonding, safety and enjoyment of swimming. It can help to ensure that swimming lessons are not only educational but also unforgettable.

Have fun singing and see you at the swimming course.
