Course Program for Adults
Adult swimming for beginners or advanced we have the right training
In our courses for adults you will get to know the world of water in small groups and in a stress free environment. We teach in three levels.
Level 1 for beginners and persons without prior experience
Recommendation:
- Suitable for non swimmers and or persons who feel very anxious around water.
- For people who have little or no experience with water and feel uncertain.
Goals:
- Water adjustment (submerging head, blowing bubbles, enduring water splashes)
- Reducing anxiety through playful exercises and building trust
- Practicing breathing in and out under water
- First gliding and floating exercises in the water
- Introduction to leg kick technique
- Secure standing and movement in the water
Level 2 for water lovers with basic skills in water position and movement
Recommendation:
- For persons who already feel more secure in the water but do not yet master any swimming technique.
- People who can successfully perform first gliding and floating exercises.
Goals:
- Deepening water position and breathing techniques
- Learning breaststroke with support
- Coordinating leg kick and arm movements
- Independent gliding on the water
- Moving safely over short distances
- First swimming strokes without aids
Level 3 for intermediates – deepening technique – swimming safety
Recommendation:
- For persons who can already swim short distances but want to improve their technique and endurance.
- People who swim independently but still need to work on their water position, breathing or technique.
Goals:
- Improvement of breaststroke technique
- Introduction to backstroke
- Coordinating steady breathing and fluid movements
- Increasing swimming safety and endurance
- First basics for crawl swimming (optional)
- Introduction to swimming in deeper water
Detailed course description
In the courses for adults you will get to know the wonderful properties of water in a small group with a maximum of six people. The training takes place in a relaxed atmosphere without stress. Through targeted water adjustment you gain confidence step by step and safely reach your goal. You acquire various techniques to cover a few meters in deep water without fear after a short time.
The courses take place once a week and last on average 10 to 12 lessons of 30 to 45 minutes (depending on the location).
After completing this course you have the opportunity to participate in subsequent courses. In these the acquired basic skills of the four core elements (floating, gliding, propulsion, breathing) are expanded into the swimming styles crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
At the end of the course there is the possibility to enroll for the following courses:
- Crawl Level 1
- Crawl Level 2
- Crawl Level 3
- Private courses – the 1:1 coaching – for training according to your individual wishes and needs
